Hi ! welcome to our home! My husband Terry and I live here
in Fairfax, Vermont with our dog Snickers and our cat Nokia. He's
an English Springer Spaniel ( "dad" say hes a little sweet and a little nuts! like the candy) and she's named after the tires because she has extra toes on all four feet. Her mom was named Muffler so we continued the car theme!
My husband had a beloved Knickerbocker bear when he was a child,,I came to love bears a little later in my life and they have gotten me thru some tough times! Nothing like a bear when you're having a bad day! I have always had a NEED to make things! And I'm a magazine- aholic! So it was only natural that i would eventually try to make my own!
I have met the most wonderful people
in the bear world! Collectors and artists alike! I've been making bears
for around 12 years now? some for sale...some for special gifts! All bears are one of a kind.but I can make a similar bear if the one you
like is sold. My bears are made of the finest mohair and are fully
jointed and stuffed with polyfil and beads or copper shot for weight.
As we love to go to yard sales and antiquing..you will see some our
latest "finds" work their way into the bears! Vintage lace ..antique
buttons ..quilt scraps,,etc.
Look for many changes in the new year as i finally make the time to showcase my crafts and new ventures!
